Each of us has a personal money blueprint already ingrained in our subconscious mind and my friends, it is this blueprint that will determine your financial life. And unfortunately, your current money blueprint will tend to stay with you forever unless you identify it and you change it.
Maybe you struggle to make the level of money you want. Or you've made money but you've not managed to keep it. Maybe you just can't break through the ceiling of what you've made financially in the past. Maybe you have debt that just weighs on you, it's just a big burden. Or you have spending habits that never allow you to accumulate true wealth.
Let me share two very simple principles to help you understand the cause of these problems.
Principle #1 is that the Roots Create The Fruits. So if you want to change the fruits you first have to change the roots.
You know, it reminds me that so many people look at their life, especially their financial life, and they've got lemons. They say "I don't want these lemons! I want apples!". So what they do is they get a ladder and they get a basket of apples and they climb up the lemon tree and they pull off the lemons one by one and they tape up apples instead!
Then they come down from the tree and they take a look from beyond at their new apple tree and they say "Oh look at my tree I'm so happy I finally got apples!"
And that's all great, except for one thing. They come back next season and what do they have? "Lemons?? How did I get lemons? I just planted apples here!"
What happened? It's simply this. The roots create the fruits. You will always always always forever get lemons if you have lemon roots.
And unless you change those roots, those fruits will never change.
But once you do plant brand new seeds and roots, all of a sudden what you want comes automatically and naturally, doesn't it?
Principle #2 is that Your Blueprint is Like a Thermostat. If the temperature in the room is set to 72 degrees, chances are that the thermostat is set for 72 degrees, right?
Now here's where it gets really interesting. Is it possible that because the windows are open and it's very cold outside that the temperature in that room could drop to 65 degrees? Of course it is! But what will eventually happen? The thermostat will kick in and drive that temperature back up to 72 degrees.
And also, isn't it possible that because the windows are open and it's very hot outside that the temperature could go up to 77 degrees? Of course it could! But what will eventually happen? The thermostat will kick in and drive that temperature right back to 72.
The only way to permenantly change the temperature in that room is to change that thermostat.
It's the same with with us. The same way with you.
The only way to permenantly change your level of financial success is to reset your financial thermostat, which again is called your "Money Blueprint".
